Heather is a senior at Scott High School, our session started off with bright sun & wind and it made everything really yucky =p but after we left our first location things started to get better. I got to visit a few new locations that I’ve been wanting to shoot at and they turned out to be perfect for Heather. I love her smile but most of all I really liked her accent… too cute =) I lost my red chair on this shoot LOL I left it behind in a hurry to beat the last little bit of light we had left. It’s okay, I’ve used it twice now and so I probably wouldn’t have used it again for awhile. I bought a new prop for her session and wasn’t really sure if it would work or not but I think you’ll agree, she’s rockin’ the Leopard print. What a sweet, sweet senior =) her boyfriend and mother came along for the session and helped me get the best smiles ever! We didn’t have any run-ins with the police on this session but I did forget about the time changing soon and geez did we lose light fast. I was wanting to do shots with my new prop but we barely had time to get it set up before the sun had set. She had this really cute outfit we tried our hardest to find some usable light for but it wasn’t happening =( I did however get one good shot on my new prop, hopefully she’s as happy with it as I am. I love my seniors! Alexis brought a couple friends along to help with getting a natural smile and they did just that. We had of course the normal security guard come and give us a lecture about being on private property and surveillance cameras were watching us blah, blah, blah LOL But he was super nice and just said go ahead shoot this time but to get permission the next time I wanted to stop by. He just so happened to be a former photographer himself and he was intrigued with the fact we wanted to shoot in an industrial park. He kept driving by us on his bicycle stopping to chat with us as we moved around the park. Yes, there are still some nice people out there.
